Light theme icons contrast

The low contrast icons in the light theme are a pain. I had to save and close a file on my colleagues' computer and for a couple of seconds I was like "what the heck, why are all the buttons disabled?"

On my PC I have the issue "fixed" but I can't be bothered to finetune the hack and the contrast is a bit too ... crisp.

I wish Fusion's UX team would find a good middle ground.

Exactly — the Light theme is simply hard on the eyes. Hopefully the dev team will bring the Classic theme back.

May I ask how you managed to fix it on your PC? Was it done by editing some file? I’m planning to start looking into this “on the side” as well, so any hint would help speed up my research 🙂

Yes, the brute force solution is to search an replace the fill colour in the *light_gray.svg files
