Hi,

I am trying to make a triangular shape, with 3 print in place hinges. The center of the triangle has a hole, that allows it to be placed onto a mic stand. Each of the hinges will have a short threaded rod into them. I made hinges because I want to be able fold them up, and fold them down. Parts and Challenges. Originally I made the triangle, the "butt" of the hinge, and the hinge post which aligns and fits over the hinge pin - as 3 separate bodies and components. As I thought about printing it, I have combined the triangle and hinge butts (with the hinge pin) together, with the hinge posts being kept as separate bodies.

HELP - How can I align each of the hinge posts; horizontal and vertical alignment - so they fit exactly in place over the hinge pin. See Attached Pics

I have repeatedly TRIED to upload the Fusion file - but the website says the extension doesn't match the file format?

UPDATE --- I have attached the f3z file in a zip file.

Thanks In Advance

I've used and seen the MOVE/COPY dialog window.....and never used the Point to Point option.

..........however...... for the vertical alignment; my hinge post has no points to align to the center point of the pin; see attached pic

Thank you.

I am finding very hard or impossible to get the center of these two because for one of the hinge parts the center is cut away, and for the other with my section analysis on the center point of the cylindrical hinge post isn't visible.

ahhhhhhh

Any Suggestions to ASSURE the alignment of the center points is easy?

Frustated

AJ
