Cutting object makes them all short?

Sorry for the bad title, I'm working on a basic shed model, the back end of the wall is 2.4M tall, and the front end of the wall is 2M Tall, so i want a sloped roof, i made the struts up, then made them all 2,4M tall, then i was going to just cut the angle, however when I cut the angle it made the angle but also made all the lumbers short?

How do I cut the roof?

Are all of your sketches fully defined?

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

The four studs in the side wall should be individual (Copy /Paste New) components.

Cut them with your sketch and then Pattern the duplicates.

Your first sketch is missing two dimensions and one geometry constraint.

When I add the missing dimensions and constraint - observe the red lock symbol on the sketch.

Also observe that the unconstrained sketch geometry has changed color.

The second sketch does not appear correct.

I drag the endpoint of the short line from image above to connect the rectangle and add the missing dimensions.

I would have modeled with symmetry about the Origin and Mirror Component rather than copy and move body...

The third sketch is missing a dimension and when I add the missing dimension the current geometry size does not make logical sense (that is one reason we fully define all sketch geometry).

Sketch4 appears to be empty.

Sketch 5 is missing a dimension and a position constraint. When I add the missing dimension, it does not make logical sense.

Sketch 6 is missing a constraint (or dimension, I would use constraint).

Sketch8 is missing a Constraint or dimension. If I dimension - it does not make logical sense.

Sketch15 is missing a dimension and appears to be way off.

Another sketch that appears to be off...

How would I do that? like make them separate without moving them again?

No i removed it just before saving, its literally a sketch on that upright strut and drawn to the angle of both, and extruded to cut/boolean.

I could see from the picture what it was, but I was looking for more information about your Design Intent before demonstrating how I would model the geometry.

Im not sure, im quite new to Fusion 360, and simply cutting an angle is harder than i thought.

Don't have to cut them if you use Extrude to Object.

See if this make any sense.
