How can I import parameters from a CSV and overwrite the existing values?

I'm trying to update some parameters in my design by loading them from an external CSV file. However, when I try to import the CSV file, Fusion renames the new parameters instead of overwriting the existing ones. How can I overwrite the existing parameters? See the screenshot.

The Fusion Add-In Parameter I/O does what you desire. Once installed, it creates a command icon on the Modify menu. It writes to a CSV file that can be edit and then using the same command will import the new values and over-write the old, at least in my tests. Here a link to the Add-In webpage.

this does work as i need it to but the comments and favorite are not imported. is there a work around?
