I can no longer select faces when I'm using the texture extrude feature.

hello there. i'm still pretty new to this so apologies if im doing something stupid but im making models for my hobby and love using the texture extrude feature before i send them off to be printed.

however when i started modelling today and tried using the texture extrude feature i can no longer select the individual faces of my model. i have definitely selected the face group selection type and selected faces on the select drop down menu but I'm having no luck as I'm still only able to select the whole model.

Any help would be fantastic.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Change you explain further what you are trying to do? Are your trying to add the railing to the stairs? If so, your model is attached.
