so there are a few things I'm really struggling with, I think I have made a bit of a mess.

1) I started in forms and converted the mesh into solid by Tessellate, remesh and convert mesh.

2) I thought id be able to thicken my model so the whole thing is 1/2" thick but it won't allow me to.

3) I can't figure out how to fill the voids. I've tried repair etc. it will fill one of the smaller ones but fill the inside in as well at random

4)when I try and slice my model into pieces or project a sketch onto it errors keep coming up. I can successfully do it with one but as soon as I try more than on or add one an error comes up. at this point I don't know if I've just done so much back and forth that I've ruined my model as well and is there a way to properly clean everything up?

I've added a screen shot I took of converting incase the large number of triangles was an issue. it converted fine but Im a real newbie to this stuff.

I suggest you share your model. That workflow needs some context to make sense.

Please export it as a .f3d and attach it to a post.

Zip it before uploading it if the forum complains about a non-supported file format.
