UI DPI Scaling Issue After Latest Update

Hello,

after the latest update, my UI DPI scaling appears to be broken — please see the attached screenshot. I also noticed a new, unusual font in the context menus.
Is there any fix available for this issue?

PC specs: NTB 14" FHD 1920x1080

Ok, so the ir FIX for latest update broken DPI scaling:

That's not officially supported within Fusion, but I can provide you a UI framework-level workaround to utilize at your own risk.

Utilizing the instructions here, you can add the system variable QT_FONT_DPI = 96 to force the app to be 100% scale regardless of display DPI.

Could you please include a DXdiag report of your system configuration? I would like to know more about your graphics drivers, monitor layout, and scaling configuration.

The report contains the device and username, which sometimes defaults to a real name, so you may wish to delete this before sharing to maintain privacy.

Hello Lance,

This issue is not only on my work laptop - (14" 1080p), but also occurs on two other my PCs, so it’s not related to VGA drivers — these computers use different graphics cards.

The functional scaling was broken in the latest update related when Fusion is launched with the parameter “High-DPI scaling override: Application.”

With this mode enabled, any DPI setting higher than 100% in Windows causes text in the main menu to become cut off, as shown in the attached screenshot.

This problem did not occur on any of my three PCs before the last update.

I need to keep DPI scaling set to 150% or 125%, depending on the PC.

Below I’m attaching diagnostics from my work laptop:

So I found the cause of the broken DPI scaling — as soon as the option to switch back to the Fusion Classic UI reappeared, after restarting Fusion not only were the correct fonts and colors restored, but also the proper DPI scaling for FHD displays. Yet another reason why it’s essential to keep the Fusion Classic theme. See the screenshot below.

My apologies, I missed this detail during my initial reading. It is not expected that users have this enabled, is there a reason you need it for Fusion?

If I don’t have it enabled, everything in the UI on a 14" laptop becomes unnecessarily large (icons, timeline, menus). On the other hand, on a 4K monitor it’s not needed at all.
