After creating a new project in my Team (where I am administrator) and adding files to the it, I tried to change the project avatar to my own image. When clicking upload after selecting my image, this error message is displayed:

"You don't have required permission to change the project profile image."

I am the owner of this project , which I will refer to as Project A for the rest of this description, and am the only member (but there are two other System Groups: 'Team Administrators' and 'All Members').

However, I can change the project avatar for my other projects. After taking a close look at the project settings, the only difference that I could find was the project type. My other projects are all closed projects. They were all created on a school computer running an older version of Fusion 360. In these closed projects, I have not had any issues changing the project avatar. However, when I created Project A on my personal computer (running version 2.0.12392), it was created as a folder level project. The difference in versions is my best guess for the cause of the difference in project types. If it would be useful, I can provide the version of Fusion 360 that my school computers use at a later date (I do not have access to them right now).

Curious, I created two new projects in my Fusion Team on the web app: one closed and one folder level. Upon their creation, I set both project avatars to the image I was trying to use earlier. Both custom avatars were successfully created and were displayed correctly when I viewed all of my projects in my Team hub. Then, I changed both avatars to the default project avatar (the baby blue one). Both avatars were successfully updated. Then, I tried changing both back to my own image. The closed project avatar updated as expected, but the folder-level project avatar refused to change back to my custom image. When I clicked 'upload' for the folder-level project, the same error message was displayed as before:

"You don't have required permission to change the project profile image."

As a workaround, I made a new closed project (just in case I need to change the avatar again) and copied all of the files from Project A (my original folder-level project) to the new project. I was able to successfully set the project avatar to my image.

I am fairly certain that this is an isolated issue with folder-level projects, but I did not test Open or Secret projects.

hi @drawingsPKPEJ - the team checked and did not find any permission issue with the project - but we can see the error reported.

It appears the image (type) being assigned to the project is invalid. Can you please try with a different type of image? We'll also get the error message updated for this scenario.

Thanks!
