Half Section View Missing One Arrow and Label “A” in Fusion Drawing

Hi!

I’m facing an issue while creating a Half Section View in Fusion Drawings. When I generate the half section, only one arrow and one label “A” appear on the parent view, instead of two arrows and two “A” labels as expected.

Attachment is a screenshot showing the problem:
The missing arrow and label are marked in red. I have checked the section line settings and annotation visibility options, but I couldn’t find a way to make both arrows and labels appear.

Expected behavior:
Both section arrows and “A” labels should appear on either side of the section line, like in a conventional half-section drawing.

Could someone please confirm if this is a known issue or if there’s a setting I might have missed?

Fusion is upto date, OS is windows 11.

You method has one problem, you are not finishing the placement of your section cut. Take a look at the video and note two things. The beginning of my section cut and the end. If you want to attach your model, I will create a drawing and the section view correctly.

What Standard are you referencing (ASME/ANSI)? ISO? Other?

According to Geisecke, et al Technical Drafting, a Half Section View has only one arrow on the cutting plane line.

I am using ISO and BIS standards in my drawing setup. Initially, both the section labels and arrows appear correctly on the cutting plane line. However, when I click on the second label to project the sectional view, one of the labels and its corresponding arrow disappears.

It would be helpful to know if this behavior is intentional according to ISO conventions or if it might be a software-related issue in Fusion.

I noticed that a greater number of section lines appear when there are more than two section planes. For a proper half section, there should be only two section planes — one through the center and one along the symmetry line, as per ISO/BIS standards.
