Absolutely crazy Fusion cannot model NPT threads?? They can make them in the HOLE function but you cant print them. I saw a contributor on here made a video on how to do this but now I cannot find it

I have been using Fusion for over a year at this point and in general its great software.

I have an idea I would like to suggest, and I notice I am not nearly the first person to do so.

Why, after all these years, does Fusion not have a tool for creating NPT threads when in the design environment? Probably every professional engineer needs to create pipe threads at some time or the other. Why wouldn't Fusion step up to the industry standard and provide us with an option to model pipe threads in precisely the same way we can model any other threads.

I ask for the Fusion team to please consider the request, and also to provide an honest explanation for why it hasn't been implemented.

Thanks,

Mankind will create affordable green power at the ITER before Fusion can model NPT threads natively...so you'll just have to wait......

Ok, so what does it take to get the green power going? Lets get, at all costs. 🤣 I need to be able to natively model NPT Threads.

While we're at it, it would also be cool to be able to easily model threads for something like JIC, ORB such as the hydraulic design world is familiar with, but I won't waste much time asking for it, considering how nearly deaf the team at Fusion is.

Any way to bump this to the top and get the devs to notice it sooner?
