Your issue is extremely hard to troubleshoot without the model, please attach it.

If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it. If needed, ZIP a F3Z file.

As described on the title. Right now I'm working on the structure for my project and I designed corners for it, which use screws to hold onto 2020 aluminum profile. I 3D printed one and noticed the hole was a tad too big, so I decided to resize it from 5.0mm to 4.5mm. After doing so, all joints collapsed and a couple errors arose. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong since this is my first multi-component design, but I don't know what. Here's some pictures to show more or less what I'm doing.
original structurechanging threaded hole diameter from 5.0mm to 4.5mmcatastrophe

When you Suppress the Press Pull feature the file does not break, when the hole diametre is changed.

Can't say why, as I avoid using the Press Pull, and when used may be expected behaviour.

(New definition of the reference faces for the Extrusion sketches being lost.)

Which then questions why the sketches are not fully defined, (blue and white articles and no dimensions (Likely imported))

As it is your first Assembly file, you are getting away with As built Joints, but when you start changing parameters you will see unexpected results for those, too.

Might help...

The solution to your issue is pretty quick. After changing the tapped hole size, press Ctrl (Command) + B from the keyboard or go to Utilities and select the Compute All command (Stoplight) icon. The attach video will show this.

If this answers your question, please select the "Accept Solution" on my post. If you need further help, please ask.

Hey, thanks for pointing that out! I decided to apply the press-pull at the very end of the design (I have to use press-pull, otherwise what it call the tongue doesn't fit on the aluminum profile rails) and no more unexpected things are happening when changing the design! Who would had thought that this was the reason....

Hi, thanks for spending time looking into it! However, the recalculate thing does a bit of a mess in two corners and I really wanted to avoid issues down the line in case this happened ever again. Anyhow, thanks to you I now know about a pretty neat feature that I wasn't aware of before! I accepted the other guy's solution, but I hope a like is good enough 🙂
