Marking files as read only doesn't get around file limit?

I received the error about hitting the 10 document limit so I went through and marked a bunch of my existing files as read only. However, I still am unable to create new documents. I simply see the error, no matter how many editable documents I actually have.

When I mark another document as read only, the error message simply reduces the maximum number. As you can see in my screenshot, I only have 2 files left, and it's now saying the limit is 2.

@ashtonwondra Do you have large assemblies in that ? For example say the CarddrawerInner, how many child documents doe sit have. I do believe they count towards the limit.

@RajkumarIlanchelian Are versions counted as child documents? I do have 6 versions which show up in the history for CardDrawerInner as an example, but I don't see any way to delete versions or mark them as read only.

@ashtonwondra Versions are not accounted as part of editable document. In the document in the data panel how many are under the "uses" section. Does the assembly use other designs in them as Xref?

In the Editable status shown in your first post, have your tried to save a NEW model? I think it is just an information screen you are seeing.

Ahhh yep, that was the issue. I had always used that UI element to create new docs, but if I explicitly use File -> New Design, and then save from there, it works fine.
