If this is in the modeling environment, it sounds a like you want to use Derive. Can you be a bit more descriptive and show a picture or something. Even a model of what you are trying to do.

In Fusion360, is it possible to use the details of an item, for example a pipe, to create the details of another - copying and then replacing the model ???

Basically I have two items that are quite similar and I made the drawing of one of them. I would like to know if it's possible to duplicate this drawing and then replace the model with the other one.

I appreciate your support and look forward to your response.

Best regards

Matheus Cesar Chiaradia da Silva

What you want is possible to a degree. You can replace the model but all the drawing dimensions will become Disassociated and you will have to Re associate them one at a time. The best idea would be to create the first model and 2D drawing and save. The Copy from the Data Panel and be sure to include the drawing. Once copied, open up the new model and edit it with the small changes you mentioned and the copied drawing will update automatically. Since you said the changes were small, this will be the best procedure.
