Wall not printing, base and top layer are fine? Help please!

Hi community,

Would appreciate your help, please!

I'm an home baker who uses Fusion360 to design my own cookie cutters for custom shaped cookies. I use PLA as my material. For the past few years, I have not had any issues designing and printing - took a few months off and I'm trying to print today, but its not printing as per usual.

In Fusion360 and Cura, everything looks fine! But when I send to my Creality-3 Pro, it prints everything but the walls to the item. Can someone explain what I am doing wrong and how to fix it? I've attached photos and the .f3d file. Maximum 3 attachments, cannot post a photo of the actual print results.

it might be your slicer software. I exported to STL and opened in Cura, and it seemed OK

When I slice in Cura, looks fine as well. When I create in Autodesk Fusion 360, looks fine there!

When it prints on my creality... not quite. I attached the photo of my print.

Could you explain what I am doing wrong or if you know a solution?

Im confused!

Sorry, I don't have any theories on that... 3D printing is not something I am that familiar with. Perhaps the walls are too thin for your printer, or maybe there is some printer setting that needs to be adjusted...

Hi,

I think you need to check your printer settings or the printer.
This is what a test print looks like for me with a 0.6 mm nozzle and 0.2 mm layer height.

@homebaker-tdd, I hope you see @g-andresen post as going that "extra" step to give you great support. To invest his time and material cost to prove where your 3D Printing problem exist is truly exceptional.

Check the G-code, because there are obviously several layers missing.

You were right, there was an issue with the printer itself. After dissecting the gcode, taking things apart and cleaning, manually testing parts... turns out the screws in the coupling were loose, preventing the extruder/stepper from moving up on the threaded rod, but not down. I wanted to come back to update in case someone else faces this issue, but to also thank you Gunther for your time and for test printing with material. I appreciated your effort in assisting!
