Good morning, if you import a file in STEP with all the sharp edges, is it possible to convert it to sheet metal and automatically create the folds where there are sharp edges?

Yes, but on this model why would you want to. It is very small with a wall thickness of .001 inches. You have to split the corners so the sides can fold down and then add fillets to the bottom to side edges. Model is attached with the Flat Pattern developed in it.

It would be faster to create from scratch - but Attached is your converted STEP file...

Units are Meters.

The wall thickness is 1mm.

In your example - the cuts are not perpendicular to the flat.

This can be verified in Wireframe view mode of the Flat Pattern.
