How to draw line between these 2 points?

Hello,

Please see attached image. How do I sketch a line between the 2 points I highlighted with the red arrows?

I'm new to CAD/fusion, and if I click into sketch mode, then try to click on those points, the actual line gets drawn not where those points are- almost like it's going deeper into 3d space than I want.

Any advice on how to do this would be appreciated thank you

Depends on what you are going to do with the result.

Start a Sketch on the lower flat side of the case where the bottom arrow is.

Create > Project > Project the points where the arrows are pointing, into the sketch.

Draw the line connecting the 2 purple points. Finish Sketch.

Use Modify > Split Face, select the curved face - select your sketch line. Fusion will split that curved face in half, show a black edge line, for further work.

Might help...
