See attached picture I took from your drawing.

Now I might have an actual answer myself, Happy days.. Still working on the drawing at the moment but I'm very close, I think. Oh and they can be butt joints btw.
"Odd" behaving Sweep... or is it me?

Hi, I'm trying to make a Sweep along a 3D path to make a frame. It's a very simple rectangle along a path actually. Now I get this twist, which I think has something to do with the 'normal' of the lines or something, I don't know. If included a picture, which should explain the problem, and I also included the drawing file.

Has anyone any idea how to solve this? I also already tried to make the frame of separate sweeps per line (so 4 separate sweeps) but than I run into other problems, maybe because I want to have some measurements of the construction sketch by a Variable Parameter.

Any idea's? thanks.

And ideed a clever idea, but.. :).. and here it comes. It would have been a fine solutions if I only wanted to make a rendering or something. When I need a cad drawing with actual measurements this doesn't work. Just look at the Variables I've made and set the "Raam_Curve" to something like 80 and the profile's all of the sudden become very big on the bottom and thin at the top.. So if I wanted to make a frame, let's say, out of steel, I couldn't have a tecnical drawing.

NOT with one simple sweep or pipetool or anything, but with a sweep/extrude per profile. In my original post/question I mentioned that this solution gave me 'other problems', but apparently that was just one referencepoint that was pointing to a previous body instead of a projection. This confused fusion apparently.

So I got what I need, and it's a lot more work than just one simply sweep but at least I can go on with the project I need it for. Now all the measurements are controlled by user parameters, so I can make the frame big or small and even the profile's thick or thin with only 5 parameters..and everything stays inline.

Thanks and have a good day all.
