Hi team,

I am trying to open a .stp file with Fusion 360 but am prompted with a message saying:

Update Fusion and try again.

You need the latest update of Fusion to open "file_name".

Ask your system administrator to update Fusion. Then try again.

I have updated the Fusion version to the most recent,

I also checked the "About" tool to double check the version:

It seems like it is fully up to date, so I am not sure what I can do here - any ideas?

Thank you!

Mariana

Is it possible that the file was saved in the Insider build of Fusion? Currently, we should be at parity with the public release, but there's always a chance..

How are you importing the STP file? If you use Open then select From My Computer it should use local translators rather than the cloud so it doesn't matter what version of Fusion you're using.
