@Anonymous

Welcome to the Fusion 360 forum.

What you are describing is an entirely different problem. Logitech and 3Dconnexion devices do not share any drivers (the software that makes them run on your machine).

You probably need to configure the wheel/button. Have you tried that, or contacting Logitech support? Here is an article that describes how to customize the buttons on your device, but if you have any doubts it might be a good idea to contact Logitech directly.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for posting!

From your first screenshot, in the bottom half of the dialog box (Details > Configure Click) it looks like you can select what action is performed when the button is clicked. Hidden underneath the expanded drop down menu, it looks like you can set it to be a middle mouse button click.

As for the second screenshot, it sounds like you are trying to create some custom keyboard shortcuts for Fusion, but I'm uncertain. Unfortunately, this is not something that can be done as of right now. The list of Fusion keyboard shortcuts can be found at the link provided here. If I missed what you are trying to accomplish here, please let me know.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns - I am always happy to lend a hand!

Cheers,

The scroll wheel moves side to side as well as up and down and rolling. I found changing the side to side functions to "do nothing" fixed the issue for me.

I was having the same problem, but rather than re-purpose the scroll wheel (which works to zoom), the forward of the two upper thumb buttons is by default the middle button and works to pan - and in combination with the shift key to orbit. Very nice. No need for Space Mouse at all.

Glad to see you helping each other! This is what makes the Fusion 360 community so great.

I only wanted to chime in to say if you haven't tried the "Tinkercad" navigation mode, it may be worth investigating to see if it better fits your style naturally, or works better with your mouse customization tools.

Quick setup is found under the ?Help menu.

I seem to be suffering the same problems as listed here and the available solution doesn't appear to be functional for me.

I have double checked that the scroll wheel click is set to the middle button. And although I can get a brief view of the pan and rotate icon it will execute the desired move for, perhaps, a single frame before no longer functioning as desired.

I have tried to set the application specific middle button feature, but the response from the logitech software is: "This button cannot be configured for application-specific behavior".

Has there been a change to F360 that makes this functionality obsolete?
