First time Posting here, Amateur 3D printer guy.

I have here a set of Storage boxes I'd like to print.

However, the Print is a single STL file, with 11 parts in it.

The issue I have is:

All 11 parts are combined into a single MeshBody. I've been able to find many tutorials on how to split single Meshes. But not in how to split multiple parts into separate bodies.

The file can be downloaded free:
http://www.thingiverse.com/download:664517

I largely just need the five shapes on the lower left of the Origin point.

Any and all help is appreciated, Thank you all!

Using the Mesh Palette selection in the Mesh Environment, it is possible to easily select and generate separate mesh bodies from a single mesh body in Fusion 360.

In the Mesh Palette is a selection modifier that allows you to "Expand to Connected."

Using the tool in combination with the Mesh > Modify > Separate command, you can easily generate separate bodies from the single mesh body in the STL file you referenced.

See the below Autodesk Screencast of me fumbling around with this workflow. 🙂

http://autode.sk/2oYYpMn

I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
