You should be okay to delete that folder that is associated with the work account to clear up some space. The Unknown user folder should remain. There shouldn't be too much data in there.

The clear user cache, will clear all of the locally stored machine settings and sign in information. It will not remove any data.

You can always use the Fusion Cleaner tool to really clean up the installation directory and the locally cached files. All of your designs that are synced to your hub will be safe and available to you upon re-installing and signing in.

I hope that helps to address your question. Please let me know if I've overlooked any of your questions.

Thanks,

Hello all,

I've used the same F360 install on my Mac for logging in to both my personal F360 account and work F360 account belonging to the company I was working at.

When browsing /Users/<username>Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/ I've found these 3 folders, the 2 first ones have a 12 char Alphanumeric name that looks random:

Looking inside .../<alphanumericstring>/W.Login/F/ I can identify the .F3D files from their names and I think one of the alphanumeric folders is the cache of my personal account and the other from the work account and the "Unknown User" doesn't have any files, just a W.Login empty folder.

I haven't used that work account on my Mac for almost a year, looking at the .F3D files modified dates on the folder that I think belongs to the work account, they date back to May/June, last year. I would assume Fusion would've deleted these files by now (it's taking about 1 GB) since the caching time has expired, would I've to login into this account for Fusion to do the needed 'house cleaning'? The problem is that I can't log back to that account, I'm not at that company anymore.

Also, cleaning local cache via the Fusion interface seems to only work for the cache of the current account you're logged in.

So, my question is, is it safe to delete the alpha numeric folder I think belongs to the work account? And also delete the 'Unknown User' folder? Or how else can I get rid of the leftovers (taking 1 GB) from the wok account still on my Mac?
