This is a strange issue. As the explanation is a bit lengthy, I have attached a PDF with a walk-through with screen shots.

In short, I see different content in A360 depending on whether I logged in directly, or click through the various links in the Data Panel and Sign-In menu. Clicking directly on the project name in the Data Panel seems to take me to the web and shows me my projects. Clicking on any of the other links. or trying to log directly into my A360 account will not show any of the content generated in Fusion 360.

Even stranger, depending on what pages are already open in my Chrome browser, clicking on the project name in Fusion 360 sometimes gives me an error message saying I am logged in as "eplumer@gmail.com" (my one and only account name) and that I should log in as a different account.

Hi @eplumer,

Thank you for sharing this with us.

I have checked your account and I can confirm there is only one account under your name and email address.

This issue looks more like this could be related to the Browser it self and the cached information.

Could you please try the following:

1. Install: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 11

2. Make sure you run the latest version´s

3. Clear the Browser cache´s

4. Login to A360 with different browsers and see if anything changes

Please, keep me updated.

Thanks,

Thank you for the quick response, Mike.

On my Windows 10 PC, I have used upp-to-date Chrome and Edge with same results, clearing cache in both.

On another person's Mac, I tried using up to date copies of Chrome and Firefox, I get the same result. These browsers have never previously accessed autodesk.

Previously, I also tried deleting the Fusion 60 WebServices "LoginState.xml" base on other posts I saw.

I am only seeing the demo project on line

I just tried an interesting follow-up experiment.

Recalling that in Fusion 360, I had projects "Demo" and "3D Printing"

From Fusion 360, I created another project "Test Project" using the button in the Data Panel

Clicking on the title at the top of the Data Panel takes me to the web and shows me only "Demo" and "Test Project" entries

Back in Fusion 360, add some content to "Test Project" and try to save

In the location drop down, I can only select "Demo" and "3D Printing" as locations to save

Back out to the main page of the Data Panel and find that Test Project has disappeared

Reproduced this sequence a second time

Logged back into A360 from Edge - found two copies of "Test Project" there but no "3D Printing"

Meanwhile, Fusion 360 shows "3D Printing" but no "Test Project"

Its like Pauli's exclusion principle, a project can only live in one place 🙂

Does autodesk staff have any way of knowing what content is actually in my on-line storage?

It is possible to have multiple hubs (Fusion Team Hubs). You can switch hubs in the main Fusion 360 menu:

And also in the online Dashboard:

I've also seen where the data panel doesn't refresh correctly, you can manually reset the data panel by following the instructions in the below link:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-do-a-manual-reset-of-the-Data-Panel-in-Fusion-360.html

I will also send an e-mail to the operations team to have a look at your hub to see if anything is out of sorts. I or another member of the team will circle back here as soon as there is an update. I hope this helps.

Thanks,

I was thinking the same thing (multiple hubs).

But if you look closely at the images in the PDF, when signed in through the web client, it doesn't appear to be the case.

The URL for both are https://myhub.autodesk360.com/g/all_projects/active .

Mikel's assessment about personal account seems right. I do not get an option in the menu to switch hubs.

I tried the experiment to show "My Account" for the two paths. That page is identical, but there is an different in the page just before it:

Logging in directly to the web or clicking "My Profile" from Fusion 360 gives the "empty" website:

On the other hand, clicking the the project title from the Data Panel gives this information:

The first one does not show my email or screen name on the initial pop-down window I get when clicking the initials in the banner.

Update - This is where I am at now with this issue.

The India office looked at my hub configuration and found that I was in fact in the impossible situation of having two personal hubs created for my account. They consolidated these into one and asked me to verify. I did so and found that now, regardless of how I get to A360, I get to the same page content. However, that content seems to explicitly show two hubs and two copies of the Demo project.

Also strange is that I received a congratulatory message for setting up a new A360 account .... ahhhhh, not another one!

This may be just an nuisance because, on testing, I found that content generated in Fusion 360 is now visible to the on-line account login. This resolves the original show-stopper. Thanks all for the assistance in this matter!

Now, as long as I don't accidentally change the default hub choice on-line 🙂 Anyway, issue is in back-office support's hands to try to remove the extra hub reference in the account drop-down.
