Can't make tangent constraint in 3d sketch

I tried to make tangent constraint between straight line and spline in 3d sketch (like I did many times before), but it stopped to work.
When I select spline line, tangent constraint icon is available, but I simply cannot select any line in sketch to make it tangent to.
Am I doing something or, or is it something that appeared after last update?
As you can see on screencast, I also had some problems trying to select starting point for spline...

Hi pawelkarabin,

Thanks for reporting the issue of "Unable to add tangent constraint to 3d spline". We can verify that in certain situation, tangent constraint can't be added onto 3d spline even if you change the selection order. Now we are internally preparing a hot fix for this issue and there will probably be an upcoming hotfix to address this issue.

Sorry for causing this regression on 3d sketch.

Hi, this still seems to be an issue? I have created a sketch on the face of an object, and it's edge is a spline. I am trying to lay an arc tangential to the edge, and it will not allow it.

This discussion was from 2017. I assumed it would be fixed?

Hi @markzonf360

This thread is regarding attaching a 3D spline endpoint to a line with a tangent constraint. This is working today and supported (in 2D and 3D).

In your case, you're trying to attach a 2D circle to a 2D spline (the line itself, not the endpoint) with a tangent constraint. We don't currently support a tangent relationship between a spline and a circle (or a line even).

It's not perfect, but I got something close by using some additional construction geometry:

I'll add a note to the internal feature request that this was requested again.
