I'm relatively new to Fusion 360 so excuse me for not knowing the names of the windows.

Up until last night, the drop-down box where is says 'Browser' and 'Comments' used to stay at the side of the canvas (so when I opened the data panel, it would shift to the right to stay on the edge of the canvas), and so did the menu where you can change the workspace and have the different options for each workspace.

Last night, those menus seemed to stop becoming static in relation to the canvas/workspace, but instead became static in relation to the whole window, so opening the data panel would result in an overlap where the menus are showing over the panel. Does anyone know how to change this back?

Also, the browser used to show as transparent but now I have to expand it, resulting in a large opaque box making the workspace feel smaller and more constricted.

(I would also appreciate someone telling me the names for the places I mean)

This is the opaque box that shows from having to use the drop-down menu.

This is the overlap of the menus and the data panel.

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

For the most part, you got all the names right! The browser is referred to as the Browser Tree, the comments are the comments, and the project list is called the Data Panel!

There are realistically two ways to set this back. The easiest, although it is a full reset, is to go to the File menu and select View->Reset to Default Layout. This will snap everything back into place. If you just want to move individual items (such as the browser tree only), grab it and drag it along the left edge (assuming you want it on the left) until a green line appears. This will dock it to the edge.

Let me know if that helped!

Thanks,
