Deboss svg to vase

I have read about and viewed several videos but am having no luck. My friend wants an urn for his son with a fisherman svg debossed as well as dates and his son's name.

I tried to insert mesh (stl) an urn from thingiverse and use some techniques from youtube (https://youtu.be/O42AxsKc_x0?si=43BPh05srsxG4L-t) with no success. I figured the issue was the 2 million facets from the conversion to b-rep. So, I made my own vase. Used section analysis, traced half the inserted vase, revolve, Bob's your uncle. Even with a single faced body, still no love. So far I have been focused on the svg and not addressed the text on the opposite side. I assume the text may follow the same solution someone can provide here.

I am using the hobby license but currently enjoying the free trial of the commercial so I have extra options for the next 4 days.
