Hi

Thank you for your support and looking into this. Unfortunately, the answers sent do not fix the issue. I had sent screen shots to the support team and I had trouble finding the email but I have now attached a screenshot of the error:

Initially, I had ticked the box and hit submit. When the error message appeared, the tick was removed and the red error message was added. I have tried this at various times and left it for the end of the trial but the same error appeared.

I have also attached the diagnostic logs as requested to possibly help you further. I have currently had to click the other option for a free years licence as I had research I had to do and needed access to the software.

I have my account signed up on my university email account and confirmed my email address. It is issued with a .ac.uk domain address, which is the standard for universities in the UK.

I know that with my student status, I am eligible for 3 years access for free and as you can imagine that is a massive benefit and although I have some kind of access, it should be the correct level.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

I have been in contact with another support area "Education Community Support Case #265158 -⁩" who have advised me to come here and raise my concerns.

I have Fusion 360 installed and I have a registered student account with my student email address in use. I have confirmed my email address to confirm that this account is valid.

I have completed the 30 day trial and at this point, I was advised I needed to use Fusion to activate my student licence. I have clicked the button to accept the terms and conditions and then an error. My student status could not be confirmed.

I am currently writing my dissertation on 3d printing and modelling for the disabled and without the modelling aspect, I am falling behind in my work. I have had to click the option to use as a freelance until this matter can be fixed.

Please can someone get in touch with me to confirm what is going on and why this is system is not working?

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

I am sorry to hear that! Just to check - where do you see this error message? Is it when you try to log into Fusion 360? Or, are you able to log into Fusion, but you see an expired trial? Can you please collect your application log files and post them here (guide here on how to find them). These should give me a better understanding of what may be happening. As a quick test, does signing in with a different account (can even be a test account) seem to work?

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous,

Let's try it this way instead. Can you sign up as a student from this link here. Once you click it, instead of hitting "Sign Up", click "Sign In and then walk through the registration process. Once completed let me know (as it will take about 30 minutes to sync most likely). Obviously skip the download step as you already have Fusion installed. Once it does, I can go ahead and check in our system to see if it went through successfully. If it does not, I will check to see why this might be occurring.

Thanks!

Hi James

I get a similar error which I believe happened over 30 days ago when I first started looking at fusion.

This is what I did 30+ days ago and used the application for the trial period and it has still not been resolved.

Any ideas?

Apologise for the late reply, have had to work and had limited time to come back and look at this.

Kind regards

Darren

I think we found the issue in the backend and have since corrected it! Can you try on the website now and see if it works to sign up as a student?
