Thanks for posting! Would you mind sharing a screencast of the behavior you are experiencing? It may also be helpful for us to look into if you could share your design, as I have been unable to reproduce the problem with chamfers coming out differently on some of the selected holes.

Chamfer bug?

I've seen similar bugs with chamfer reported but not sure if this simple one has. If you add a Distance and Angle or Two Distance chamfer to both ends of a cylinder the the fillet directions are opposite on both ends. Also a little reminder, for Distance and Angle we really need to be able to select or swap the distance direction\face.

The angles are treated the the same now for each end of the cylinder.

I can send your feedback about flipping/swapping direction and distance to the UX teams. They may have some ideas like this in the works already.

Thanks for reporting and take care,

HI Chamfer still not working i guess....I have a flat plate, 1" thick, I want to chamfer with angle and distance but when i do that, one face gets out of "line" similar to the cylinder example, one side gets out of line, thanks

Can you post an example? I cannot reproduce the original problem in a cylinder or flat plate. A video or screen shot images might help. Or if you can post a sample model that shows the issue.

@Phil.E I meant to follow up on this. I've found there is still a problem but it depends on the direction of the extrusion, for example symmetric seems to work but single side works in one direction but not the other, see screencast. I'd attach the design but the export feature's still broken making exports a pain.

Edit. Also you'll notice there's a bug trying to use Look At if you select a plane.

I've added a bunch of examples and notes to the existing reports, and logged a new one for distance and angle depending on extrude direction as you point out.

Also logged the look at problem, thanks.

And what problem is there with export?

@Phil.E the save problem has been logged here and in the linked thread. The removal of the windows save dialog just makes saves to the local filing system frustrating as you have no cues about directory contents and file type selected.

I noticed the Look At bug only occurs with preselection of planes, works fine with preselection of faces etc.

Thanks Mark

I have a problem with chamfer as well--I select 4 holes to chamfer with distance/angle and then I get a different chamfer on half of holes. I've check the diameter of all the holes prior to chamfer, and they are are the same. Just the distance of the chamfer seems to be off on some of the holes.
