Any way to add "end slices" in Slicer?

Slicer's functionality is great but is there a way to add slices in the ends of a shape?

So I don't end of with the unsupported "sticks" in both ends of the shape on the images:

Hi! Thanks for reaching out.

If you click on a slice in the 3d model, you should see an option at the bottom of the screen to add additional slices, remove slices, or also move around the existing ones. You can move it as close to the edge as possible.

Unfortunately the click and drag does not seem to work on a MacBook Pro with touch pad.
