I've seen this issue before... Autodesk need to fix it on the backend. Hopefully this will get escalated to support soon. If not contact support through the chat mechanism which you can access in your Autodesk Account.... just follow the support links in there.

Hello everyone,

I have recently downloaded Fusion 360 to use for my high school robotics team so after my trial expired I applied under and educational license. However, I can't seem to make any new projects, I just get an error "Usage limits exceeded"( I have 6 projects, is that too many?). After digging around I am pretty sure it is a problem with A360 as all the solutions on others posts were just a support team member saying they contacted the A360 team and then the person's problems were solved. I don't know if there is a simple solution for this or I am doing something wrong. My steps to try and solve this were:

1. reinstall fusion 360 (after downloading new installer)

2. Use Fusion 360's educational website to apply for an educational licence (for a second time, first time I did it right after it asked me what I wanted to do b/c my licence expired)

2. wait a few hours to see if the servers need time to sync

3. restart my computer

4. reinstall again

This didn't work. 😞

I have included log files. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Ben

Hi @ben.leistiko,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

I'm taking a peek at this now and it appears to be different than what we normally run into and what @scottmoyse pointed out. Normally we see that the entitlement does not appear tricking Fusion into thinking that you don't have an active Fusion entitlement. In your case, it seems that it does so this leads me to believe that A360 has just not noticed your entitlement yet. I checked into your account and it looks like you registered this morning as a student? Is this correct? If so, can you give it a little time and see if it works later in the day and just stick to using one of the default projects (Ben's First Project or Demo Project) for the time being.

Please feel free to report back if by later tonight you are still unable to create new projects.

Thanks,
