&lt;P&gt;Welcome to the Fusion 360 community and thank you for posting! Could you try clicking the grid icon in the top-left corner to open the data panel and then double clicking "My Recent Data" or "Your first project"? I think you can find your file there. Please let me know if you have any questions!&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;new to F360 - autocad self taught and Sketchup self taught, a dinosaur off the old drawing board 20 years ago.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I generated a very complex component, saved it - not sure where it went - not sure how to find it either.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is there some area I can go to, like open or file, to find what I have done.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;your help will stop the grey hair from forming.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;many thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;michael&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
