Hi Anthony,

I just heard back from the development team and learned that they were able to open the file but found there are about 80 Feature failures in Timeline so it's hard to tell how that happened right now. Those errors might have occurred when some important bodies or components that were referenced by other features got deleted by mistake.

I had a chat with my colleague who spoke with you on the phone and it seems like you are able to open the earlier versions so I believe the best course of action for now is promoting the healthy file (version 23 or so) and re-modeling. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I'm not sure how much longer it will take to identify the root cause of the issue at the moment.

I'll circle back here as soon as I have more information to share.

Hi,

I tried to post earlier, but I don't see it anywhere, so maybe I messed up somewhere. But I have been working on a file for awhile, and earlier today it Fusion360 crashed on me unexpectedly. Usually when I open the program back up, everything is back to normal. Today, however, when I try to open up the file, the program keeps crashing immediately before it opens. None of the previous saved version work either. I've also tried copying the file, as well at exporting into f3d (and re-importing), but still doesn't work. I'm very worried that I lost all my work. No other files seem to be affected, as I can open those just fine.

I just downloaded the iOS app and, again, I can access all other files except for the one that I need (it says it has trouble loading it).

Can anyone help or have any tips? Thanks!

-Anthony

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting! I am sorry to hear about the issue. Would you be able to share a public link to the design with me so I can investigate the issue?

Hi,

Are there any developments on this? The file that I can't access is mission critical for the project that I'm working on, and is blocking me from doing any further work.

-Anthony

Hi Anthony,

I've escalated this case to the development for further investigation but we haven't found a solution at this moment. (the ticket ID is UP-36036 just for your reference)

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
