Hi @wh6Q9NU

Thanks for posting! It certainly seems like you are experiencing some unintended graphics issues in Fusion 360.

I have seen this occur on my Mac, but it has always been resolved by restarting Fusion 360. If you shut down Fusion and then reopen the application, does it open with the double window tile and half-hidden timeline?

What about if you toggle into full-screen mode and then back out?

If none of this helps, please see if performing a clean uninstall and reinstalling Fusion resolves this behavior - it is possible that there was an error during the previous update that resulted in this behavior.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Suddenly I have a double window title and the timeline is half sunken away. I tried to solve this but no solution found.

Any suggestions are welcome.

I've taken the steps below and it didn't resolve in a solution. The double title is still there and the timeline is still shifted lower.

In the next order I executed (and tested):

- switched fullscreen on/off several times on main and on second screen.

- restarted Fusion

- Restarted OSX

- cleanup Fusion 360 & reinstall

    - sorry, didn't solve it, double title is still there timline looks even shifted lower this time

To complete the reinstall I need to reinstall my POST's and ADDIN's

Hi @wh6Q9NU

Thanks for the response! I am sorry to hear that none of the procedures above resolved this problem behavior.

If the clean uninstall and reinstall of Fusion did not fix this, it seems that this problem is being triggered by some graphics setting on your computer. To continue troubleshooting, I recommend;

Limiting your graphics effects for performance in Fusion 360 using the procedure at this link.

Disable (set to 100%) any scaling applied to your Mac OSX displays.

Follow the tips in this article on performance tips for running Fusion 360 on a high resolution monitor. Does setting Fusion to use the other graphics driver (OpenGL or OpenGL Core) than you have been fix this? What about opening Fusion in low resolution?

Updating your graphics drivers. On Mac OSX, this requires the OS to be updated.

Confirm that you have completely shut down and restarted your computer and the problem remains.

Does this issue occur if your second monitor is disconnected? Does your external monitor require and software or drivers?

If none of this helps, please gather the items below and attach them to this forum thread - I am happy to continue troubleshooting.

A screenshot of your graphics diagnostics from Fusion 360.

Your diagnostic log files, which can be gathered using this procedure.

Please let me know if if you are working on a 4k or 5k high resolution monitor.

Send me a system information file by emailing it to paul.clauss@autodesk.com.

To reinstall your add-ins, please use the procedure at this link. Your CAM posts can be reinstalled to your personal posts using this procedure - I would recommend creating a cloud post library and installing them there using these instructions.

Hopefully this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi, I am experiencing the same problem. It started a long time ago - I think initially it wasn't so bad but now 1/2 the timeline is hidden.

I followed all the workarounds and tests I could read (decreasing rendering options to the minimum, setting up only performance, ...).

The problem always persists except in full screen mode where it disappears.

I attached 3 screenshots including the graphics diagnostic window:

- in small windowed mode (problem visible)

- in large windowed mode (problem visible)

- in full screen mode (problem NOT visible)

thanks for your help.
