Please help

After creating an extrusion in SCULPT mode with a very simple sketch, I´m unable to fill a hole in the face of the resulting shape.

I get an conversion error, some surfaces are self intersecting even tough the sketch is very simple and the model quite straightforward

Here a screencast

Thanks

Hi @elf_monkey,

It looks like the screencast didn't make the post. I think you have to click on "Insert" to get it to actually get inserted (it's not obvious...):

Thanks. The video made it through. I'm able to reproduce this. I'll file a bug. It looks like "Fill Star", and "Reduced Star" modes for Fill Hole both have this problem. I did find that "Collapse" will succeed:

Jeff, FWIW: T-splines has failed at this type of fill since its inception (Or at least since I first used it in Rhino many years ago, before AD bought it). Fixing probably wasn't a high priority because it also produces terrible geometry, at least from a T-spline centric view. I've always had to build more T-spline edges and create good geometry to close surfaces like this.
