Can't activate components in design

It's possible that I'm missing a setting or something, but I have a design with various components, and I can't activate any of them. The radio button that usually appears next to the component name doesn't show up, and the drop-down menu that appears when right-clicking the component doesn't provide an "Activate" option.

Is this a bug, or is there some kind of "lock design" feature that was triggered accidentally?

Hi @calebc01,

Thank you for posting! Did you try the "Activate" in the imported part(X-ref)? In that case, we are unable to activate it so we could edit after opening the file. I tried to reproduce our issue but I was unable to succeed it.

All of your components can't activate ? or Does it happen in a specific model??? if yes, could you share your design?

Ah. Figured it out 😕 The components I couldn't activate were all components created in other files - you can't edit external components inside the assembly.
