Hi, thanks for the rapid reply. I've attached a video with steps to reproduce my issue. It seems to be caused by inserting sketch fillets after offsetting an edge.

I have worked around the issue by removing the four dimensions it created after applying the fillets and then recreated them with the correct parameter.

Sketch offset with parameter

When creating an offset in a sketch, I'm asked for the amount to offset by. If I have a parameter called my_offset which has a value of 2.00mm, I can key in my_offset to get this value.

However... The sketch shows an offset value of 2.00mm as an absolute number rather than a parametric one.

If I double-click on the 2.00mm offset to edit, I can overwrite the 2.00mm entry and put my_offset again. It now shows correctly as fx:2.00mm.

Should it have taken the parametric value first time round?

Cheers,

Duncan

Thank you for posting. I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this.

I was able to reproduce this behavior on my system and found this is known bug (logged FUS-27051 internally).

I apologize for the inconvenience. Also I found this thread introduced some of the background on this issue.

I thank you for bringing it to our attention!

I see no issue with using a Parameter with the Sketch Offset command. Check your workflow and your Fusion installation version.

This is normal. The Fillets change the nature of the sketch offset. If you add the fillets before doing the parametric Offset and it does not violate geometry, it works fine.
