Error creating .stl file

I get an error when creating an .stl file It only eems to do it when I'm "saving" the same file.. I used to be able to create the .srl , while it was saving ??

It doesn't occur on just one file , but all my files , at least lately,,

I finish a project , save it , then try to create an .stl and it gives me that error. If I wait until it's done saving ,, the "create .stl" works fine ... sometimes it takes a longish time to save ... , and I have to wait .. My solution now , is to save the .stl first then save the file .

But I think it should work both ways , it used too 🙂

Thank you for your response! I was able to reproduce the error and it seems like Fusion is not capable of saving a file in the cloud and exporting a file as STL at the same time. I believe the only way to avoid this is (1) saving as STL before saving a file in the cloud or (2) saving as STL after saving a file in the cloud is completed.

Well,, before the last upgrade , I could save the .stl while the job was uploading .. but not now .. anyway , I'll do it that way now ...

I am unable to save an stl file to a usb stick,I have been using Fusion 360 for 16 months and have never had a problem,I have tried saving a new design and an old design under a different name,I as able to save the old design previously.The error I get is,

Autodesk translation services failed to translate current document to stl file.

Stl transltor refused to export data.

The actual cause of the problem was a faulty USB stick,it had self switched into read only mode and Fusion 360 was unable to write to it but gave me the wrong error report.A new stick solved the problem.Hope this helps someone.
