Hi @hg49KUU,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

I am sorry to hear that! Just to check, have you tried restarting your computer then running the uninstaller? Also (if on Windows), what happens if you right-click the installer and select Run as Admin does that work? If you keep task manager/Activity monitor open while installing does the process eventually disappear?

Can you also please gather your installation log file (guide here) and post it?

Thanks,

I am trying to reinstall Fusion 360 (trial) - it kept freezing when I selected the trial counter, so I uninstalled it, intending to reinstall it. But now the installer appears briefly on the screen and then vanishes and nothing more happens. Would appreciate some help. Thanks. Regards, Henry

Thank you very much! Run as admin did the trick and it looks like it's
installed successfully. Thanks again,

Henry

Hi @hg49KUU,

No worries! To prevent any update issues (as this may occur in the future), I would suggest right-clicking the desktop Icon for Fusion and selecting Properties. Then scroll over to the Compatibility tab and check the box to run Fusion as admin on start up. That way it is always running in admin mode and you won't need to worry about any permissions issues.

Thanks,

Hey, I have tried all of the above, however, when I go and attempt at uninstalling, I begins streaming, thus making it impossible to do

Hi @Anonymous,

How are you uninstalling? Is it from the Control Panel? If so, can you try using our clean uninstall tool here and then reinstalling?

Thanks,
