Can you tell us what file type you're working with here, where it failed to translate please?

it is a standard Fusion Filetype and the file will not open after it was
closed by the student.

hi Dave,

I was able to download the file in the public link that you provided. I then just opened the download and when Fusion opened it asked me to recover 2 files below. Are these the right files?

Please confirm, and if so, please try the download (as Fusion file) then re open them with Fusion to see if that works for you as well.
