How does one configure the wheel button to work with Fusion 360 on Mac?

How does one configure the wheel button to work with Fusion 360 on Mac?

The Middle mouse button doesn't work on Fusion 360 for Mac OS in order to be able to pan or orbit, it only zooms in or out.

By the way, I happen to use a normal Logitech mouse that does have a third middle scroll button.

Thank you for posting! But your reply didn't help me at all.

Prior to asking/posting my question in this forum, I had already tried using the Logitech Control Center, and as for the mouse wheel button goes, I tried every option available, yet nothing worked. I will add some images to show you what I mean.

Also, the related forum post you linked, just for your reference is for an outdated software, which the Logitech Control Center has been the update for: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/problem-in-fusion360-with-a-logitech-m705-mouse/m-...

I have no clue how to modify how the keyboard function keys can be set to pan, orbit or even facilitate another command.What option for the wheel button would be the "middle" button?This is the image from the outdated Logitech software that you sent a reference link. It's weird that the "Middle button" option is no longer available.

Being able to at least set these shortcuts for the function keys would be nice.

Thanks for trying though, I appreciate it, but the mouse navigation on Fusion 360 is still rather lacking. I don't understand how Autodesk doesn't pay attention to these kind of details. I already used three different mice, and they all have the same problem.

The screenshot below is from my Mac machine, and the Middle click option worked for me. Do you have this option?

As for keyboard shortcuts, currently there is a limitation and it's not possible to customize keyboard shortcuts. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Oh... the "Middle Click"... I thought it was within the "assigned actions" that I previously had showed you.

It didn't help that dialogue box of "assigned actions" would open on top of the "Middle Click".

In terms of assigning shortcuts, too bad it's not possible as of right now to further customize keyboard shorcuts, because otherwise it would be awesome to set some hotkeys. So I understand one can't customize shortcuts from Mac OS "System Preferences", but what about within the Fusion 360 Ultimate Enterprise program?

You saved my life, now I can really navigate like I desperately needed, thanks again buddy!
