I would like to keep the dimensions visible but hide the sketch points and lines.

No, there is no way today to keep the dimensions visible without the sketch geometry also being visible. Can I ask why you want to have that configuration of visibilities?

I have to give this to a fabrication shop and i don't want to confuse them. instead i will create a drawing where i am pretty sure i can define dimensions in fractional inches.

Hi @Anonymous have you tried using the Drawings workspace to create the dimensions you need? If you create a drawing with Inch units, you can also get fractional units which sounds like would be helpful for your purposes.
