It can definitely be tricky to find! If you downloaded Autodesk ReMake before it was retired, you should be able to use that, and if not there are a few free third party programs out there like MeshLab or ArtMesh that might work for you

I'm having trouble with my drawing views and am wondering if possibly there are settings that I'm missing to make up for a less than ideal video card / processor, which I'm only guessing is at least part of my problem though I'm seeing this behavior on 2 systems, one definitely stronger than the other.

I've already cut down the Face count in my mesh and was hoping to not have to reduce it further if at all possible. I've tried breaking the link to the Parent view, hoping that I could get at least one view to show the White Plastic Material and Appearance. The frustrating part is that as I'm Editing the View, going to Shade and Off with Tangent Edges, it momentarily (sometimes up to a couple of minutes) displays properly. As soon as I try to save the drawing, the Shaded view(s) go back to the model's mesh.

Any ideas?

Hi @Anonymous,

Nate had a great breakdown of why this happens and how to address this in this thread. The TL;DR is basically that you'll get better results if you bring in your mesh as a quad mesh and then convert that first to a sculpt/T-spline body, then to a BRep body.

Thanks, I'm busy looking for a way to get my triangles converted to quads; software I don't have. Appreciate the help!
