When i post to the haas mill w/ ngc. It outputs a line with a feed speed of 650 which is faster than the mill can operate and hence generates an error when run.

code :(Drill37)
N490 G1 X1. Y-0.5 F650.
N495 G0 Z0.4
N505 Z0.2
N510 G98 G82 X1.

Hi @ptcjohn,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Fusion community!

I'm sorry to hear about this issue! First, I just want to make sure we are on the same page here. You are using the "HAAS - Next Generation Control" post processor (haas next generation.cps) to post your code, correct?

If that's the case, I think you just need to toggle one of the properties within the post process dialog box. When you go to post your code, scroll down in the "Property" section until you see a "Use G0" property. Toggling that from "No" to "Yes" should get rid of those high feed linear moves. One thing to note though is that this output dogleg movements.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns - I am always happy to lend a hand!

Cheers,
