Hey,

So i was deleting edges and points on my mesh and it disactivated the subdivision. I used the utility repair mesh and it subdivided it back, but that seemed to be a bug. (Check screenshot)
By the way, is there any way to remove the subdivision and see my polygons unsubdivided like in other 3D softwares?

Cheers,

Alex

Hi @calexpavel,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Fusion community (again )!

I had just replied to your other post (linked here). Looks like you've got a couple issues with this design - sorry about this!

For this one, I'm going to need the same information from you to troubleshoot this further. Just for clarity and time's sake, I have copy/pasted my reply from the other post below.

"Hi @calexpavel,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Fusion community!

I'm sorry to hear about this issue! To help me troubleshoot this, would you mind sharing the design with me? The article linked here describes the many ways that you can share your designs to collaborate with others. For the purposes of troubleshooting this issue, I would recommend sharing a public link to the design. This will allow me to download and make modifications to the design here on my end while leaving it intact within your project.

Would you also be able to record an Autodesk Screencast of the issue as it appears on your machine? It would be useful to see the picks and clicks that you're making just to ensure that there is nothing about your workflow that is causing this issue to occur."

Thanks in advance for the information! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns - I am always happy to lend a hand!

Cheers,

Thanks Mike,

I'll do so in the future as right now the mesh is ok after repairing it, so i can't show the probme.

Thanks for your answer.

Just a note, there is NO subdivision going on here. T-Splines are not subdivided meshes. They simply behave similarly in modeling, but are different mathematically.

Sorry for my ignorance. I thought it works similar to Modo's catmull clark's subdivision.

A mesh has a finite resolution. You can subdivide it finer and finer, but there is always a finite resolution.

A T-Spline just like a NURBS surface does not have a finite resolution.
