unreliable "emboss" function on text

If I use "Emboss" on a solid object, at a flat surface with a text-sketch, it only works with a few fonts.

If it haven't worked I get the following error massage: "Error: Sketch profiles create a self-intersecting body. Adjust depth of emboss or size of sketch profile."

I only tried it with Fusions included fonts.

Hi,

There are fonts that cause such self-overlapping. This can (occasionally) be prevented by converting the font to paths using explode (right-click > explode).

File > export > save as f3d on local drive > attach to post
