People,

I was able to solve all of the problems by putting the joint on the left of the moving component, and then dealing with all positive angles.

I also wish to know if there is any way to set up a joint that toggles its behavior - ie: animate once, the door opens - animate again, the door closes.

I seem unable to set limits on a revolute joint which seems to be working otherwise. Three problems:

Established both components with no angular offset (ie 0º), Yet the joint insists that the normal mode of the joint is at -90º.

Setting limits provides for a minimum and a maximum. If I set one, it sets the other to the same angle, and the joint will simply not animate, though it does so i the joint editing dialog.

Can't seem to control the direction of the rotation.
