Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for sending the file over! I had a look today and found that some construction geometry seems to be causing some odd behavior with the model - I have shown this in the screencast below. I think that some of the construction geometry was created at a size much larger than your model, which leads to your model being very small when compared to the "work area" including the construction geometry. This means that, when you are viewing the model in a way that you can work with it, you are actually zoomed in very far, which may be contributing to the issues you described with the model disappearing.

I don't think the model is actually being cut - the geometry should be identical, it can be easy to zoom past the model and not be able to find it. After deleting Axis7 and Axis8 from your model, I was able to double click the mouse wheel (to perform a zoom>fit) and it was much easier to navigate around the model.

One thing I noticed is that you used many Move commands to position your parts in this model - you may be able to create more robust assemblies by using joints to parametrically position your components. This video gives a great explanation on best practices for assembly modeling in Fusion. I hope it helps out in the future!

Please let me know if you have any questions.

As I zoom in on a model, the objects are being cut. So as I zoom, the model is going away. There does come a point that the entire model disappears. The zoom is also very sporadic. As I roll the scroll wheel, I can't tell anything is happening and then all of the sudden the model zooms up and past what is visible. This is only happening on a couple of different models.

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! Are you certain that objects are being cut as you zoom in? I have not seen the behavior you have described before - would you mind sharing a screencast illustrating what you are experiencing? If you double click the middle mouse button after the model disappears (to do a zoom>fit), is the "cut" visible as a change to the model?

I'd also like to have a look at one of the models that is exhibiting this behavior - please share one using any of the techniques at this link. If you'd prefer to keep the design private, feel free to direct message me a downloadable link.

It also seems like this problem could be graphics related. Are you using the most recent drivers for the graphics hardware on your computer? If not, please update them. Also, are you using any peripheral devices (Spacemouse, external display drivers, etc.)? If so, please update these drivers as well. I would also be curious to know if limiting effects for performance helps resolve this issue.

Hopefully this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

As you can see in the screencast, as you zoom back out, it comes back.

I downloaded the latest driver update this morning so I don't think that is the problem. Plus I have other designs that are very similar that don't have this problem. I will try to send you the file of the design.

It sounds like you have perspective camera on. This allows you to zoom "through" objects.
