When having one object built as plane on top of imported mesh object during camera rotation order of objects changes in the view so it's impossible to tell which one is on top of another. On Back view it could be imported mesh, on Right view it could be newly built object. If I use predefined views (top right corner's navigation cube) same thing happens but order of object could be different

Screen recording attached

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! Would you mind sharing the design in which you observed this behavior with me? If you'd like to keep the design private, feel free to direct message me a downloadable link - I'd like to see if the behavior on my system matches yours.

Please let me know if you have any questions - I am happy to help!

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for sending the file over! I had a look and found that I received slightly less dramatic behavior on my end - I have shown this in the screencast below. I believe this issue has to do with the opacity controls on the intersecting bodies (MeshBody1 and Helmet). When I change one of the bodies opacities to 100% or hide one of the bodies, the issue does not occur. Changing the opacity of the one of the bodies also shows how the surfaces intersect. This is illustrated in the screenshot below - both bodies are at 100% opacity:

We can see above that neither surface will fully block the other from view. This appears to be a cosmetic issue - I received no performance issues when working with the model in your file. I will pass this along to our graphics team so they can have a look - we appreciate you bringing this to our attention! Please let me know if you have any questions.
