Hi - newbie question here but it's driving me mad!

If I sketch two concentric circles and a square, I cannot move the circles independently, whereas the square can be moved.

I just don't get it? As far as I can see there are no constraints...I'm baffled

Your solution most welcome

Thanks Seb

@Anonymous Thanks for posting your question to the forum. It sounds like there's an automatic concentric relation that has been added as you sketch. Be certain you are actively editing the sketch. If you see an icon like in the image below, before you're in the move command, try clicking on it and deleting it. This should allow for independent movement of the circles. Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions! Thanks for being a member of the community!

Thanks Matthew - but no luck there...I cannot delete anything (in the way you can delete other constraints) still cannot move the circles...rectangle no problem - behaves as expected.

Sure I am overlooking something very simple here - but just cannot find it!

Thanks Sebastien

It's because the center of your circle is same as the center of the center of the coordinate system, so it makes two constraint. If you can't delete the constraints somehow, try to sketch the middle of your circle elsewhere and it will work 🙂

I'm not sure why you cannot delete the concentric constraint. Are you certain that you are editing the sketch that contains these two circles?

Here is a screencast showing how it is supposed to work:
