Hi.

Been searching the forum but not really finding an answer to what I´m looking for.

Is there any way to change the unit of showed mass in the property info. The scientific version just bugs me, especially when you

have a model that actually has a couple of kilos to it 🙂

And of course without changes the units of the whole part / assembly.

// P-J

Hi @petrol_junkie,

Thank you for your posting!

The properties units are following to Document setting option. If you change it to "M", you can see it with KG.

For your reference, the Material Unit Display option represents the material physical properties in Manage Materials. (Modify -> Manage Materials)

Hopefully, This will help

Many thanks,

Yeah.. I understand that it's a bit inconvenience. In our IdeaStation, Someone posted the same issue. Let's vote it to be accepted as a future consideration.

Also, you can communicate with Product manager through the Ideastation.

Thank you for your understanding!

This is a problem in the drawing table and anywhere else that use the weight.

It's actually show a scientific value in grams in my case, 1.123456E+9grams

I what to have the control to adjust the units per component or minimum per file.

Thanks,

Hello,
Each customer asks how to change the display in properties with g units per kg and keep mm. And they also ask about the units in the drawing? Is it a bakery program? Or for industry? I'm not even a goldsmith. When will it be possible to change? It spoils sales.

i don't understand this too, this makes absolutly no sense to me.

as long as i work, thats about 13 years, it was always mm and kg in germany in the industry and automotive sector. And never mm and g. No one wants to know how many gramm a base frame or a part wheigts.

It was and always will be kg.

it should be changeable in fusion... at this state its not usable.
