Hello,

I have the following problem.

Lately I installed Fusion 360 on new computer Windows 10 (Usually I work on Mac). Without looking too much I have start drawing. After two days of drawing I decided to save the file and realized:

1. The data panel in grey and it's not accessible.

2. When I click the "Working online" button to turn it of it freeze there without doing anything.

3. The save icon is gray and it's not accessible.

4. When I try to export I see message Receiving data ... and nothing is happening.

5. I've tried to make force recovery file Cntr + Shift + S but the file is not located in the appData folder.

I'm looking for solution to save the file manually somewhere locally so I could deal with the issue.

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

Do you mind creating a Screencast showing what you are seeing? Obviously we do not want you to lose any progress you have made so far. I would be curious to see what might be going on. Are any of the share functionalities available from the File menu?

Also, if you right-click the top-level component, can you Save Copy As successfully?

As @jhackney1972 said I'm pretty sure I have issue with my account. I haven't used it for a while and when I opened it the license was expired, I renew it and continued. I believe I had to restart the app first.

You could see the screencast below:

http://autode.sk/2EDSt6y

Thank you in advance.

Hello James,

I apologies. Maybe I didn't express myself clearly. I meant that I think I have issue with the account but I'm afraid of closing Fusion because I'm not sure what will happen with the unsaved project.

I still have the issue. Next to Active plan says: Fusion 360 Ultimate, Startup. Expires February 12, 2019.

Thank you.

Okay, at this point, why don't we schedule a remote desktop session then so that we can go over this together and hopefully extract the file and then resolve the issue.

Feel free to email me at james.youmatz@autodesk.com to set something up.

We were able to solve this by checking his crash recovery folders. To do this - we forced a crash recovery file on the Untitled documents that could not be saved by hitting CTRL (CMD) + Shift + S. Then, we followed the instructions in this link here to locate the crash recovery files. They were named as filename.backup so we removed the .backup extension and added a .f3d extension and moved the files. Then, restarted Fusion 360 and successfully opened and saved these files.

Thanks,
